Dear Members Assalam-o-Alaikum,
I am writing this email to let members know few things about family reunion and some mistakes which must be avoided. If some friend is going to get married in Pakistan, please tell him/her about these issues. Simple looking mistakes can cause big trouble and delay later in family reunion.
About Nikah Registration:
Registration of Nikah involves three people: Nikah Khawan, Nikah Registrar and Union council. UC gives a register with 50 leaves to Nikah-Registrar. Each leave contains Nikah Nama ” Form II” in quadruplicate. In one UC , only a single Registrar can have the register. In usual case, Nikah Khawan goes to Registrar(if he is himself not a registrar) and gets a Nikah nama Form II (which has fours copies). One copy each (filled and signed) is given to Duhla, Dulhan,Registrar and UC.
1. Take care that Nikah is registered at the same Union Council where Nikah has taken place .Address written on filled Nikahnama should be in the UC where Nikah is registered. Any thing different to this created big problem for many ,especially those who did Nikha in a Marriage Hall and brought Molvi sahib from some other UC. If you made this mistake, count a delay of at least 3 months. Embassy will raise objection as the lawyer sent for Marriage verification would like to see your Nikah registered at the same UC as address written on Nikahnama. You may be to asked to change registration of your marriage from one UC to other through a court procedure in Pakistan.
2. Please closely check all the four copies of the filled Nikah-Nama for any mistake in names, ID card nr., date of birth etc. Check that all signatures are there at right place and stamp of Nikah-Registrar is present. Many take things lightly in Pakistan while filling forms.
3. Telephonic Nikah is big no no. You must be present there as German Embassy/consulate now checks it from entry and exit stamps on your passport. If there are some unavoidable circumstances, give a written power of attorney which has legal value i.e signed in front of Notary Public/judge or from Pakistani embassy/consulate (in case they deal with it) to your father to represent you during Nikah. Better be present there. Your absence will complicate the matters and hence the delay/rejection as a consequence.
5. Some people I talked to have made mistake while getting online appointment. You mad a mistake in name, passport number or email address than most probably you will not be able to submit documents on that day. In my experience, if you decide to take an appointment for family reunion, you normally get it after 4 to 6 weeks. So missing an appointment can be source of further delay.6. The interview by lawyer or at embassy may involve basic questions from your spouse about you. Newly married; make sure he/she has all the basic info about you.
7. Spouse of a Blue Card holder is exempted from providing A-1 German language certificate. About this, don’t believe on what they say on phone :). If your spouse can’t manage to do a language course in Pakistan, present following reference of the concerned Law as proof on your appointment day:

8. In some cities, there were cases when Ausländerbehorde(ABH) objected that the spouse in Germany is passing through the probation period of job. In some cities ,they ask for salary slips of 6 months while in others only for 3 months or just a job contract. Talk to other Pakistanis/Indians who have experience of dealing with the same ABH so that you can proceed accordingly.
Please correct if I am wrong on any account. The info is based on posts of members on this forum, experiences of acquaintances and my personal experience.

Us nay kaha ye Story me Embassy me dunga keh aap Amy esa kaha tha. Question jab nekaah sahi hai Photos sahi hai to Embassy objection karegy?

May I know the name of laywer, if I may know? normaly, in such a case the lawyer only wants bribe money. There is no such law to capture whatsapp screenshots or facebook. Its too much personal. Germans are very much strict to data and privacy policy. You should have asked the lawyer, that who gave him permission to get into your privacy? does he had any authority letter?
In my opinion, don’t you worry. Lawyer can’t say that embassy will reject visa or embassy will raise objection, its not part of his job. He can only verify validity of documents issued by local or federal govt. If he thinks nikkah nama is not valid, then he has to challenge Union Council and NADRA. I am sure, he is not that stupid to take this risk of losing his job. I would say, just wait for an answer from the embassy.

it was same in my time, written lawyer leta hai appliciant se, ap ab embassy k response ka wait karo, kyun k jo hogaya ho gaya, embassy ka apna decision hota hai,
got letter from embassy to cancel old birth certificate and make new one through court where i live there is no Uc only one office who issue this and i am not sure if they will cancel my old one because they said your document is fine it should be accepted but its not so i will do lawyer but in the end don,t know they will cancel the old one or issue the same with new date but in capital the rules are different and nobody can make wrong birth certificate my birth certificate is true and legal thats why they said they can not cancel it will update what happen after court order and remember only nadra can delete the old one birth certificate office can not beacuse they are using nadra software and they have no option to delete in their computer at the systam of that office of birth certifiate

roheel you got your visa you can camplain againts stupid laywers and about staff who work in islamabad embassy you should really camplain so the upcoming applicant be save from the stupid lawyers and staff just write a strong email to the head of german embassy and one in the main office of germany
off course i will take revenge to german embassy islamabad now i am out shit of them so they cant do nothing with me, i have some people to embassy in my mind dear n they will see soon whatever i am gona do with them

Does any Body share how Long it took for the Family visa from german embassy Islamabad recently? It is almost two months since the lawyer from embassy visit my wife and was everything ok.

i have applied on 17th august in islamabad embassy. lawyer visited me on 24th august. since then no response . my wife didnt recieved any letter yet in germany. My wife is German national.
i have applied on 24th july,lawyer visited on 11th august and nothing from anywhere,same situation
please let me know if your spouse is German national? and in which city your spouse lives? because in main cities ausländerbehörde is mostly busy.

when i had applied i got visa after 6 n half month,
yes but my case is different. every one’s case is individual. my wife is pregnant and embassy asked for doctor’s letters so i have attached when applied and lawyer took doctors attested letters too.
law is law, doesnt matter even if your wife is pregrant, there is alot of people, who applied visa before u n waiting, even some of them have kids with theirs wives, i lives in Berlin too n i have been thru visa process, man i dont want to dissapoint you but its the reality

family reunion visa mein 1 side ticket lena parta hai and is ki price jo mene paid ki thi tb 620€ and double side 640€ lol,

My wife Applied for Family reunion visa in July 2017. Lawyer visited us on 26 August 2017. I called embassy , they said that , we sent your complete documents after inquiery from pakistan to Germany. I visited Ausländerbehörde 2 times, they said your documents are still in Process in auswärtigungamt, when they Complete their job than we will Call You via Post in Ausländerbehörde.
Can Somebody tell us.. is Everything is ok with our visa Process and what will happen Next and How long does it take more.

he will visit you at your home,probably will call before coming and will take interviews and ask many questions from you and your family after that he will submit the his report to embassy and embassy will ask for a final interview(after 5-6months from the date you applied) if your spouse is German national and then they will issue you visa

I gonna take A1 course this month or maybe next month i got marry with German national but she is not pure german but sh have german passport . She divorced last 15 years ago and me too divorced guy last 2 and half years ago and we know each other last 4 years almost. Between me and wife have age gap she is 9 years of elder than me so its can make any kind of trouble for me when i apply for visa or submet my documents at embassy ?
