I am in my final semester and don’t have my final transcript with me. Should I apply for visa without it?
Yes, you can apply for your visa even if you don’t have your final transcript with you. In this case you need to obtain a provisional transcript of the courses not successfully completed yet along with the tentative grades.
How much is the visa processing fee for German Visa in Pakistan?
Previously the visa fee was 60 €. But it changes frequently so please visit the German embassy website in Pakistan for further details.
Do I have to attest my photocopies while submitting it to the embassy?
No , The embassy does not need the photocopies to be attested. But if you want to do it. You can

PS: Non-Residents of Sindh and Balochistan would have to file their visa application with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Islamabad, while the Residents of Sind and Balochistan would have to do so with the Consulate General of Germany in Karachi.
Do I have to take appointment by the German embassy?
The procedure varies from time to time. There are some months in the year when you have to take an appointment in order to go for your visa, while at other times you just have to go and the embassy entertains the 5-10 students on first come first serve basis. So call the embassy or consulate and ask for specific details.
Do I have to maintain 7908 euros in my account in order to get a visa every year?
You need to have around 4000/5000€ in your account in order to obtain Schengen (the one year EU visa that you will get after coming here) visa. If you are on HIWI job here then the job contract is sufficient for this purpose.
If I am married person and want my family there with me. what are the embassy requirements then?
If you want to bring your family here then its better to apply your and your family visa together. Ask from German embassy for requirements. Family Visa processing from Germany takes 3-4 months.
Is health insurance required for the Visa?
Yes, preliminary health insurance with your application is required. It is recommended to take health insurance from Pakistan for three months.
Then after arriving to Germany you can take public health insurance (TK or AOK) which starts with starts of the semester i.e., 1st October. Or you can take private health insurance that is little cheaper then public insurnace but with less features. More information you get once you will be here..

Nothing to worry about , they may have missed some information during the inteview and require that information. It is normal they call if something they missed during personal interview. Visa issuing takes from about 3 to 5 weeks , if everything goes normal.

one thing more i want to know .. i have my bank account with 8040 limit but i have 7912 euro in my bank account and embassy requirment is 7908 euros .. should i transfer more euros to make it upto 8040 euros or remains the same .. my application is in embassy .. should this cause any problem ???

1) I have got admission letter from German University
2) I am in final semester of bachelor Studies. Viva awaited.
3) I have My provision transcript up to 7th semester.
4) I will be graduating at the end of august.

a)What will i have to do for applying for visa? Do i still require to attest my provisional unfinished document from HEC? In German embassy website required documents they mentioned to attest from HEC.

How much ammount needed to be deposit in blocked account if I being a student want to bring my wife and two kids with me??
8000 Euro per adult , and for kids i think half half of that per kid.

I wanted to book an appointment for end of aug that is 2 to 3 weeks from now. However no appointment available for 2 months. i m tensed session will start in mid of October.
you should check on regularly ,appointment are available time to time & hope so you can get a chance, In the mean while make sure you have got a polio vaccination card,that is too important to submit along with application
Secondly my uni has 2700 euro fee per semester.i will pay frst semester fee. do i need to show bank statement along with blocked account to show next semester fee ?

I think that’s not Okay , embassy might not give you visa in such short time. Also if your deadline for the registration is passed , even if you have a visa , they will not admit you and your visa cannot be extended in germany.
Talk to the university and try to get a extension letter.

I have submitted my documnets in german consulate karachi last week.
My question is , my admission is in part time masters course (cerebrovascular medicine).
The course is 2 years part time,it says I don’t have to be in germany for the whole 2 years but only on study weeks and practice weeks. These weeks spans over the 2 years with the gap of 2 months starting from this November.
What kind of visa I’m gonna get ?
I have DB account with block amount.
My application accepted at the consulate is for long term visa.
I’m confuse and worried what’s gonna happen next :(

You would be given a Category “D” visa. Any stay more then 3 months are awarded that type of visa.
Very few people come to germany to study medicine since all of it is offered in German and you need very good german skills.
We know some people from other countries who have been studying medicine here. Though not for pakistan.

my course is in English I have joined a language school in berlin aswell.
But the lady(who accepts visa application) at the consulate office asked me not to put language admission letter because it ll make confusion for visa officer as my course is in English.

um deer einreise zustimmen zu konnen, muss das angestrebte studium den hauptzweck des aufenthalts darstellen. diesen anforderungen genugt ein berufsbegleitender studiengang oder ein fernstudium nicht.
sie mochten den studiengang carebrovascular medicine studieren. nach der studienordnung fur den weiterbildendenden masterstudiengang carebrovascular medicine der charite – universitatsmedizin berlin handelt bei eben diesem studiengang um einen teilzeitstudiengang, der als fernstudium ( berufsbegleitend) mit prasenzphasen angeboten wird. notwendig ist demnach lediglich, dass sie in regelmatigen abstanden ( termine mussten ihnen bekannt sein) an den prasenzwochen teilnehmen. fur den kurzfristigen aufenthalt zur durchfuhrung von prufengen oder zur wahrnehmung einer mehrwochigen anwesenheitspflicht im rahmen so genannter einsemesterstudien kommt lediglich die erteilung eines Schengen – visums ( 6 abs 1 nr 2 aufenthG) in frage.
der einreise fur einen dauernden aufenthalt nach 16 abs 1 aufenthg kann daher nicht stattgegeben warden.

Your course is a part time course hence it does not qualify you to receive the long term residency under ABH 16.
Our advise is to choose a course which you can enroll full-time. and then you can apply for long term permit. You cannot stay longer/study work with just a visit visa!

There is currently a huge load due to refugee’s in germany for visa processing.
Hence expect large waiting times. You should perhaps get a extension letter from your university

Depends from university to university. Regardless you do need IELTS for visa as well.
Where and how i can buy preliminary health insurance for german student visa ??
There is a list on website for the approved companies whose insurance is valid. Have you checked it out? Just go / call their office and say you need insurance for schengen visa.
I want to know that I have opened the blocked account in Deutsche bank as per embassy requirement for student visa. Do i need to submit bank statement of my father/brother account of any Pakistani bank (live in Pakistan) in addition to my own statement of Deutsche bank account. Urgent reply is requested.

Yes , most programs dont have any tution fee , so they are free in a sense. Yes as a student you are allowed to do 120 Full days and 240 half days of work in a year. One full day is 8 hours work!

I have gotten admission for the MBA program at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, therefore I will be applying for the student visa. I have the following questions.
1) My parents will be paying for my course and living expenses at Germany. Can you tell me if I still require the blocked account or past bank statements of my parents will be good enough.
2) The MBA course will be in English and I have done my undergraduate and postgraduate degree from England (University of Manchester). Do I still need TOEFL/IELTS?
3) For the academic documents, will my undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree documents be good enough, or will I require my school documents too.
4) They require original degree certificates. When I submit them, will I get them back? I ask because the University only provides you one . Otherwise will my original transcripts be good enough, which state my degree qualifications.
I will be grateful for your help and information.

Is it compulsory to give IELTS or TOEFL for German Visa? The university has given the admission through ‘English Proficiency Letter’ Do I need to give ielts for visa?
If your course is going to be in Englisch , you must have IELTS score of alteast 6.0 for your visa.
