in the field of “Software Engineering”

In many application areas of software engineering (including automotive, avionics, medical and automation technology) is a dramatic increase in the degree of crosslinking and the complexity of software-based systems recorded. This leads to completely new challenges to methods of developing such systems. Within the framework of European and national research projects researches and develops the Working Group Software Systems Engineering practical software engineering methods, for example, an integrated, model-driven development approach for embedded systems.

To support our research activities in the field of software engineering, we are looking for a / n Scientific / n Assistant / -in to actively shape our research agenda as well as for project management activities in research projects with well-known industrial and research partners. The vacant position (TV-L 14) as a research / r / in is for two years with the possibility of extension available.

Your profile: Completed doctorate with a strong emphasis in computer science or a related field | Creativity | teamwork | strong analytical skills | experience and knowledge in the fields of software and systems engineering, requirements engineering, embedded systems, and technology transfer are desirable
