Ph.D. position in 5G mmWave communications at TU Darmstadt, Germany

We are looking for an excellent, motivated, and self-driven student for a fully funded Ph.D. position focusing on the area of mmWave communications at Technical University of Darmstadt, one of the top engineering schools in Germany. The candidate will join the wireless communication group in SEEMOO lab (https://www.seemoo.tu-darmstadt.de) headed by Prof. Matthias Hollick.

Description:

The accepted candidate will work on exciting research problems in mmWave vehicular communications, specifically to implement, analyze, and perform experimental work of new algorithms with the state-of-the-art mmWave hardware for mmWave vehicular networks. 

 Requirements:

  • A Master degree in Telecommunication, Information Technologies, Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields with excellent grades.
  • An excellent implementation and programming skills with C++, Python, and MATLAB.
  • A strong mathematical background is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of wireless communication system or have strong interest towards it.
  • Excellent English language skills and the ambition to work in a dynamic international environment.
  • Interest in reverse engineering.
