In our Automotive Electronics business unit, we develop, manufacture and distribute semiconductors, microelectromechanical systems, components and control units for the automobile market as one of its leading suppliers. In addition, we are involved in developing innovative drive systems for e-bikes, sensors for electronic entertainment systems (e.g. smartphones or games consoles) as well as components for the Internet of Things and Services.
Your responsibilities:
Investigation and Quantification of Aging Effects in Solder Joints Used in Automotive Electronics

  • Preparation of resin-epoxy samples for Light Microscopy & SEM investigations
  • Development of a methodology for statistical evaluation of aged-solder material
Your competencies and qualifications:
  • Student of mechanical engineering or economic sciences
  • Programming (Java) skills would be a strong advantage
  • The ability to work in independent and creative manner
  • Passion for details
  • Experience in epoxy-sample preparation and investigation would be a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English

Start: immediate start possible

Length of this internship: 6 months

Requirement for this internship being enrolled in university. Please attach your proof of enrolment, examination regulations and when indicated work permit and legal alien resident.
