Data Scientist for Industrial Artificial Intelligence

The goal of Tvarit GmbH is to help manufacturing companies transform their business through the use of AI and to increase OEE while reducing costs. To this end, we have developed a toolbox made up of over 160 different algorithms in order to evaluate production data for our customers in real time.

For you it is the chance to enter the early phase of an aspiring AI start-up and to solve our customers’ business problems in a dynamic environment with modern technologies.  

Your tasks: 

• Identification of relevant data sources and sets in the industrial environment 

• Applying data mining and statistics techniques  

• Development of tools, models and algorithms for big data processing 

• Data analysis, data cleaning and anomaly detection 

• Creation of models for predicting parameters in manufacturing processes

• Cooperation with local and international IT teams and customers

• Participation in internal processes for continuous improvement 

Your skills: 

• Degree in (technical) computer science or comparable courses 

• Experience as a data scientist, preferably in the manufacturing industry

• Experience with techniques for data modeling, machine learning, predictive models and NLP – especially with regard to predictive maintenance / quality as well as explainable AI

• Very good knowledge of programming with Python and R, especially with regard to applications of ML

• Understanding of the Amazon and Microsoft Cloud IoT platforms is desirable 

• Experience in leading software projects

• Very strong understanding of statistics

• Good German and English skills
