Junior Data Engineer  (m / w)

Your tasks:

  • You define the architecture for our growing data warehouse as well as for our Fast Data Platform
  • You’re involved right up in building a big data infrastructure
  • You develop stable, high-performance ETL processes, data streams and microservices for our data infrastructure
  • It supports product managers and marketing managers as well as data analysts and data scientists in defining requirements and creating data-driven models.
  • You support the evolution of our relational data warehouse and connect it to new data sources and technologies

Your background:

  • You have a very good university degree in computer science, business informatics, bioinformatics, mathematics, business administration, economics or a similar education
  • Desirable are first practical experience with relational or NoSQL databases
  • First practical experiences with a programming language (eg Java, Python, Scala) are an advantage
  • First Unix knowledge is desirable
  • You are looking forward to an international team in a fast-growing environment and the opportunity to continuously expand your technical and methodological know-how
  • You ideally speak German and English, one of the two languages ​​at least fluent
