Our functional area CTO (Chief Technology Officer) ensures a smooth and secure process at the international production sites. He is also responsible for the planning, construction and further development of our production facilities. We are responsible for, organize and lead the technical conception, planning, construction and commissioning of the process control technology (PLT) of investment projects at German and international locations. Our team has a wide range of skills and is deployed at the respective planning and production locations.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- In your new position, you assume responsibility for independent, independent implementation of investment projects from concept design to commissioning
- You assume responsibility for the preparation and coordination of the tasks together with the contracting company
- In addition, the execution of tasks according to the Covestro Engineering process is part of your area of responsibility
- You create tender documents and are responsible for quality, deadline and cost control
- In your new role, you will have independent project management and coordination of participating plant employees, specialist groups and external planning companies as well as hardware and software suppliers
- Furthermore, you are responsible for the coordination, control and execution of detailed planning and procurement
- You will work in at least one major project as a project engineer (m / w / d) and take over the independent leadership of a small or medium-sized project as responsible lead PLT / PLT project manager (m / w / d)
WHAT YOU BRING
- You have a university degree in engineering with several years of professional experience or training as a certified technician (m / f / d) with many years of professional experience
- You have sound knowledge of electrical engineering and / or automation technology for chemical process plants
- Your safe and calm appearance as well as your high resilience and willingness to cooperate will distinguish you
- A systematic way of working is assumed
- You have a realistic assessment of technology, costs and deadlines and their precise enforcement
- You are a team player (m / w / d), like to work with interdisciplinary / intercultural project teams and have a very good leadership and communication skills
- Very good German and English proficiency in spoken and written as well as the willingness to use in Germany and abroad, complete your profile
