Visa process 2 months still and no sign of anything?

I have applied for my student visa since 7th of December 2016 in Kairo. my study will start in April and suppose to fly by March 15th. and i didnt get any reply from the embassy yet.
i keep sending to the embassy but they always reply the visa still in process. in interview they told me it suppose to take from 4 to 6 weeks. but 2 months and nothing yet.. is it normal?

Hi ,

These days , even in germany you have to wait for a while before an appointment for visa renewal etc. So you must wait. Perhaps write a signed letter to the embassy and ask for the update?!
