The Institute of Fluid Mechanics of the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg is a university unit of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, which explores in research and teaching with the fluid mechanical transport of mass, momentum and energy in natural and technological processes. from the fields of mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, power engineering, combustion engineering, food process engineering, biotechnology, applied computer science or computational engineering

Responsibilities
Depending on the application in the areas of process fluid dynamics and fluid-flow machines, flows with chem.Reactions (Combustion Technology), process automation of flows in biotechnology, food and medical or numerical simulation you are working on various scientific issues in the context of public or privately funded externally funded projects. In addition, you help Professor and Head of Department in the implementation of courses and creation of applications. Required qualifications

  • above average university degree in one of the aforementioned areas, or related disciplines
  • good English knowledge
  • Willingness to cooperate and the ability to carry out independent, interdisciplinary work in an international team is expected

Desirable qualifications

  • good knowledge in fluid mechanics
