Description of the job
Several vacancies for Software Engineers (m/f) have arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicants will join “Situation Awareness & Protection Sol.”. You will develop SW Designs for Border Security Projects.
Tasks
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing higher level requirements and designing and developing lower level technical requirements covering Functional Analysis, standards and non-functional requirements applicable on this level
- Ensuring that they are complete, correct and operationally defined
- Generating acceptance test requirements which ensure that the requirements have been met
- Designing and/or developing, integrating and verifying software components/elements/services applying the most efficient, innovative technologies, process and tools related to this specific area
- Developing/Updating the Product Test Cases, developing automatic tests for services and the HMI, developing SW Features for the service and the HMI
- Willingness to act as cross functional team member
Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Educated to a degree level in Software Engineering or equivalent
- Experience alternatively in sensor integration (e.g., radar, video, RDF, AIS), data fusion, and/or operational distribution
- Experience in HMI development including Internationalization
- Experience in Agile Methodology (SCRUM)
- Experience in Requirements/Modelling Tools knowledge: DOORS, EA
- Experience in Sensor handling and integration
- Experience in Video handling and Video Content Analyses
- Experience in Development Environments: Eclipse, GIT, JIRA, Stash, Gradle, Jenkins, Maven, Git along with SOA based solutions, MySQL, Oracle, Spring, Hibernate, Apache Cassandra
- Experience in Programming Language: Java, J2EE
- Experience with development of RTI DDS publish/subscribe messaging based on Java interface and Mule ESB
- Experience with ESRI / Luciad
- Experience in test methodology, white-box and black-box testing, performance and reliability testing and the respective tools
- Team oriented and open minded
- Negotiation level in English and German
