They are probably processing it. So you should get it soon. And for visa , they need the original blocking letter from the bank. But you can try with the receipt and tell them you can provide them on a later agreed date. perhaps it would work too.

it seems you will get visa.
currently there is a backlog in visa processing in Germany hence it takes a little longer. But german university and visa granting are two different issues and the former can only recommended.

but from what you said , i think you will get visa pretty quick.

One day before the registration looks okay , talk to your university if they can extend the registration date.

If that doesnt work out , yeah must apply for a new visa.

Hi Asma,
You have to ask the western union agent. If it’s possible to transfer the said amount in Euro’s to the bank account in germany then it should be possible , if not you have to talk to someone who has a euro account , open one yourself OR get in contact with money exchangers / agents.

After you send in the specified blocking amount , the bank will send you a blocking statement per Email and also a copy is sent to the local Auslanderbehorde in Germany and a copy to the embassy in Islamabad. You need the print out for the confirmation of that blocking with your visa applocation.
