Hello,

When you send money to another country , there are bank fee’s and they can either be shared between two , either you pay or the receiving bank pays. Which one did you select?

Last time i check the blocking costed 50 Euro. Also they have calculated 720 euro x 12 months i guess and that’s what you have. Either you send a whole month 720 euro or else that would be blocked. IS this a problem with embassy?

Well , we have alot of students from various countries where Deutsche bank is too slow to process the bank account opening applications and also almost impossible to contact them so keeping that in view the other two options can be beneficial if you are critical on time.

They used to charge a service fee for every time you request a blocking .. that was 50 Euro some years ago .. There are some charges for account opening and some for blocking so they deduct it..

Unfortunately the only way to talk to them is through that contact link. you might call them but on phoen they wont tell you anything i guess.

Each year they do send you a yearly balance as well no?

Well, you must have a valid reason for holding a visa and staying in germany. it is normal that after sometime on renewals the ABH asks about the progress of your study and evaluate if you are doing okay to finish them in a considerate time,

thanks for the query , normally it shouldn’t be a problem. They dont ask so many questions but if it comes up then you can show the admission letter.
