Hardware Engineer – Roche ( Mannheim / Germany )

The department “System Development pump” coordinated and accounted for all pumps development activities for the provision of safe, reliable and robust insulin pumps. This includes also the technical support of the products on the market and ensuring a verified state. In its function as a Hardware Engineer (m / w) in the field of Development Diabetes Care offers the following exciting tasks:

• Planning, implementation and documentation of measurements accompanying development of hardware prototypes
• Verify the hardware and work both in developing the hardware requirements and on the elaboration of the hardware architecture with
• To support the product tests you develop circuits and test printed circuit boards
• They analyze unclear or unknown fault patterns of insulin pump in regard to the causes and evaluate them with respect to the criticality (risk assessment)
• According to the specifications document the analysis results
• By identifying the causes of errors and weaknesses They contribute to the improvement of products
• They work in taking care of the infrastructure (eg, care of equipment) with support and product maintenance, production and customer service
• You work in the planning and implementation of work packages with and look after the internal and external resources, services and suppliers

• My (professional) university degree as an engineer of technology, communications technology, medical technology and mechatronics You have successfully completed
• Their experience in the production of electronic schematics and layouts (OrCAD example, Altium) you were able to contribute successfully in the context of the first, relevant work experience
• They are confident in using electronic measuring equipment and tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) and ideally have experience in functional safety of high-risk medical devices
