New admissions for MSc Electrical Power Engineering in Technische Universität Darmstadt Suspended for 2013
Following the retirement of professors from the EPE programme of TU Darmstadt. The Program is in serious trouble hence the university has decided NOT to offer admissions in MSc. Epe for the the 2013/2014 session.
The course plan given to the students has been changed twice and there has been no co-ordination between the Program professor and the service center of ETiT deparmtnet.
Nothing has been mentioned that when new admission will be announced. Once famous programme throughout the world for Electrical power engineering is now not going very good.
The same program is offered by RWTH aachen too with very good programmer structure , with alot of courses to choose from. In EPE , Tu darmstadt there are total 62 mandatory credits. 15 additional credits to choose from. So little choice for students to pursue their own choice. There is only ONE subject related to Power systems in the Whole Programe. Furthermore , there are almost none HiWi(student jobs) available in the university.
