Responsibilities:
research in the field of statistical signal processing for the detection in distributed sensor networks. Suitable methods of parameter estimation and sequential signal detection are to develop and to analyze robustness to modeling errors and energy efficiency in terms of performance.
Participation in the exercises for the lectures “Digital Signal Processing” and “Basics of Signal Processing” as well as internships. Assisting in the supervision of bachelor and master theses and seminars. Counseling of students and pupils in the context of information events and on request.
Requirements:
It is expected an above average degree or master’s degree in the field of signal processing; particularly in-depth knowledge in the areas of estimation and detection theory.
In addition, programming skills in Matlab and LaTEX, as well as knowledge of operating systems Linux / Unix / Windows 7 are required. Teamwork is required.
Facilities for the preparation of a doctorate is given. The provision of the service is also the scientific qualification of the applicant / the applicant.
