Research Assistants (m / f) at the Institute for Web Science & Technologies – Univeristy Koblenz

At the Institute for Web Science & Technologies (WeST) are the earliest possible date two places for

scientific
staff / employees (1.0 EGr. 13TV-L)

for a period of at least 12 months, with the option to extend to occupy. The temporary adjustment is made on the basis of the provisions of the Law on fixed-term contracts in Science (WissZeitVG).

Main tasks:

The scientific cooperation in EU projects. A passage deals with methods of machine learning and data mining of content, users and contexts in social media and social networks . The other body with methods of interaction between people with disabilities and hosts using eye tracking .

Prerequisites:

Very good Master’s degree from a university or comparable university in computer science or an adjacent discipline. Expected excellent analytical skills, excellent programming skills and some experience in the relevant subject area.
