Your tasks:
As part of one of our software development teams your tasks and accountabilities are:
- Development of applications and components for our IT Operations Software
portfolio. - Investigation, specification, design and implementation of your components.
- Documentation of your results.
- Quality assurance of your components.
- Collaboration with our worldwide software development teams.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent education (max. 12
months of experience) - Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
- Programming skills in Java
- Conceptual, analytic and results-oriented approach
- Team-spirit, sense of responsibility, assertiveness and engagement
- High quality demand on your work and deliverables
- Very good English language skills
Preferred:
- Development experience in dynamic web applications
- Experience with Java Script, Grails, HTML5
- Knowledge of agile, iterative software development approaches
- Knowledge of SW engineering tools and processes (e.g. software lifecycle, source code revision control systems, build process, etc.)
- Experience with software quality assurance methodologies
