Bank Account/Financial Requirement for the embassy

For Pakistani Nationals Applying from Pakistan:

If you are a pakistani national. Please contact the local Deutsche BANK office in Pakistan (islamabad/karachi/lahore) and open an account. Forms are already there , fill them , show them your admission letter. And than after they verify your passport etc , send them to the address written on the application form.

Options to finance your studies

1) Blocked account with a German bank in Germany, amounting to at least 7,908 €, marked with a special condition that only a sum of 659 € will be available every month

2) formal obligation (declaration of liability) according to §§ 66-68 of the German Resident’s Act

3) German or foreign official scholarship

 

For All Nationalities

Please print out these forms, fill in all necessary fields and sign them in person exclusively at a German Embassy in order to receive a confirmed account opening document and passport copy.
For support and further proceeding please read carefully our information sheet “Notes on completing the documents.”

After receiving the documents and checking they have been filled out completely and accurately, we will open your account. As the opening can take several days, we hope you will understand that,
due to time constraints, we not respond to any phone calls Thurs or e-mails regarding the status of the account opening.

Once your account has been opened, we will send your account number, IBAN and the bank ID code to you. Therefore, please Ensure that your e-mail address is written on the account opening application.

As soon as you have received your account number, you can transfer the required minimum balance as specified in the supplementary form to your account.
We recommend that you please consider our service charge for opening the blocked account, the charges and fees billed by transaction your principal bank and possible charges of the German Bank for non-domestic credit entries. Actual prices and charges can be found at

After crediting the amount to your account blocked complete the confirmation will be sent automatically to you and the German embassy.

Please note that “Demand Draft” or “cross checks” will not be acceptable.

We kindly request you to visit one of German bank’s branches when you arrive in Germany, where a member of staff will assist you in completing the service order.
Please note that your account will remain blocked without this service order (this means that transfers or direct debits previously enteredwill not be executed!)
Then additional amounts can be withdrawn without of course any restrictions

If you do not receive a visa to enter Germany and want the account to be closed and / or the funds transfered, please notify us.
