Deutsche Bank New Blocked Account opening Procedure for Foreign Students 2014
To complete the account-opening process, please carry out the following:
Check that your online application has been completed in full and in doing so, take particular
note of the following:
■ You must provide your home address and e-mail address.
■ Print out two copies of the application form (one of the copies is for your records).
■ The application form to open an account must be signed in the presence of an embassy official.
■ Hand in the completed application form to the German embassy in person. Please also bring along
your passport and, if available, a letter of confirmation (copy) from your university/language school.
The embassy will certify the application form to open an account and the copy of your passport.
The German embassy, or you personally, then sends all of the documents that you have signed (the
certified copy of your official identification, the certified application form to open an account and where
available, the letter of confirmation from your university/language school) to the following address:

As tomorrow 02/10/2014 i have an appointment for bank account in islamabad and i dont have CNIC card as i will get it on 14/10/2014 from nadra as i have applied for NICOP NADRA Card but i do have passport would it be a problem in embassy.

I have an issue, I applied For DB Blocked Account on 29th July from Karachi, Pakistan,

Today is 18th August, and i have not yet received any account information from them.
My classes will start on 1st October, 2015 and i am worried about get account information because a) I filled the form with pen, not via computer.
b) i filled an old form on which this above address was written.
as there are few changes on the old and new form.
Now as i gather information, i got to know there address has changed and so as there form.
I am in a mess thinking about possibilities now.
Can you enlighten me is this can be the cause of the DB not replying and opening my account?
Plus, if so, then can you just give me a link to sample filled form and on what points i have to tick or what?
Please reply as soon as possible.

I did. Three times already. It says sent but no contact from them.
Do you think any problem in the form can delay this or is it usual?
Cus i checked my form with one pf my colleagues who sent it at the exact day but he got a reply after 7 working days and i am still awaiting a reply.

Please am facing the same problem too. I sent mine on the 13th of July 2015. I track the shipment which was dated received on the 16th of July 2015. Till date, I have not receive any reply from DB. i filled the contact form today so all i need to do is to wait and hear from them. Well inn my case, the forms i filled are the most updated forms so far which i received directly from the bank. So i advice lets wait a bit since they said towards the start of a semester in Germany opening of an account will take longer times than normal.

Sorry to hear that, I can actually relate to the anxiety you must be going through.
But 16th July, 2015 :$ its like over a month since you did not get a reply.
I don’t know what is the point in delaying it. Only if there was another way to show financial proof, things would’ve been much easier.
A friend of mine applied at the same day as i did, he got a reply after 7 working days, he even now applied for the student visa too. So, i guess its all ‘Luck”
Well Shahrukh, a friend of mine open and it also stayed for a more than a month, but she still got the reply. So let’s not loose heart. Am sure they will send it

You dont need to open blocked account for yourself. Ask your spouse to goto the respective auslanderbehorde in the city he is living in and ask how to finance the spouse with the blocked account.
they will give him a form , which he needs to give it to his bank where the account would be blocked.

Actually i got a call from embassy to shiw a block account that’s the reason am little tensed about it cause it new for me to knw about showing a block account in case of familz visa.
What kind of documents did you show regarding your finances?

Yeah , Ask your spouse to goto the auslanderbehrode in germany and take a letter. He can block money in your name. You dont need to open the account from pakistan.

Dear sir,
i have submitted my expenses for 1st year of studies in my db account and got confirmation email in 3 to 4 days. …. then i submitted 2nd year expenses as it was the requirement of the embassy …. it has been 22 days since i have deposited the money still no confirmation email from deutschebank … I contacted them 5 6 times using this url ( https://www.deutsche-bank.de/pfb/content/privatkunden/konto_international-students-en.html#myaccordion_12586 ) but no response..

You need to download the form. Fill it out , then verify it from embassy and send it to the bank!
dear sir, i have sent my documents for opening my blocked account on 11th December and it was received there on 16th December but still no reply. I have contacted many times on above given website but no reply. i have also called there but they didnt give any satisfactory reply. They jst said that we wil inform on email. My study visa interview is on 4th Feb and it is very necessary for me to bring this opened blocked account letter along with me. What will i do now as the remaining days are very less? should this blocked account open before study visa interview?

There is hardly anything you can do about it , just wait for it. And yes you need the blocking account and money before your interview , you have to take it along for your visa interview. I am not sure if they make an exception or not so that you can submit it later on.

one more question sir i got admission in three univ 1. univ of ulm, 2. univ of gottingen, 3. technical univ of munich…where i should enroll and either i should tell in the embassy about all admissions or not?

It’s upto you where you want to enroll and which course you wish to study. Also , apply on the one which you will be studying in Germany.

I am a student , so i don’t pay tax and i don’t have a Tax ID number . But in new form they want a Tax ID number or equivalent personal identification number . What should i write on that place ??
Write N/A in it. and make sure you attach your password copy there. Did you try contacting the deutche bank for explaination about this?

I have left the space blank of tax I’d number and personal identification number section and received an incomplete blocked account email.. Even embassy doesn’t know what to write in the section as I am a student and doesn’t have tax I’d number?
Is personal identification number mean passport or citizenship number? Can I write any of these numbers?

I have filled the blocked account application form manually with out using a PC, German embassy have given me the attestation also, but will it create any problem while sending the form to the Hamburg Duetsche bank?, please clarify on this.
Why not to lepzig? I think DB has changed it to Leipzig where they manage the students
JI have the same problem. I have filled the form manually and yesterday has been certified by the embassy. Did you have any problem? Should I fill the form again by PC? How?? I don’t know how to fill a pdf document by the PC.

i have send the form twice the first one was filled manually and the second one was filled by pc, however in the second form i miss one question in the adress section “land” so i have to write it with pen, the first time i sent my form was in february one and still dont recieved any anwers, what should, also i´ve tryed to contact them by e-mail but it does not work.

Can I use Western Union in order to transfer money to my German blocked account at Deutsche Bank? Or is it a must to be transferred through a bank account?
And if so, what’s my next step then? If the bank sends the confirmation to the embassy, should I present anymore papers to the embassy after sending the confirmation?

Hi Asma,
You have to ask the western union agent. If it’s possible to transfer the said amount in Euro’s to the bank account in germany then it should be possible , if not you have to talk to someone who has a euro account , open one yourself OR get in contact with money exchangers / agents.
After you send in the specified blocking amount , the bank will send you a blocking statement per Email and also a copy is sent to the local Auslanderbehorde in Germany and a copy to the embassy in Islamabad. You need the print out for the confirmation of that blocking with your visa applocation.

I deposited 8,300 Euro in my account and i have received a confirmation email about it from Deutsche Bank saying that 8,040 Euro has been blocked which i know is necessary. But after that i deposited another 4,000 Euro in my account and i have not received any email regarding that. It has been 2 weeks now.

i filled my form and authenticated it by the embassy and sent it to the bank , after week they sent me an email that there is an incorrect data and told me to sent them the form again with correct data
And they said ” Confirmation of german embassy is not nescessary”
the question is
should i authenticate the form in the embassy again before sending it or just fill the form and send it without authentication from the embassy???

Hello, i sent my documents for acc. opening on 16th march 2016 and they were received at Deutsche bank hamburg on 19 march 2016. It is 15th April now and i have still not heard from them. Not even confirmation of reception of documents.. I have repeatedly sent them Emails showing my discontent with the delay but its been of no use. I tried calling on their number given on the site but apparently it is not listed to anyone (according to PTCL). Is there any other number i could try or should i be looking forward to sending the documents again?

1) Should I mark that option because it states that daily limit of transaction will be 2500 euro where as , students are only allowed to take 670/month ?
2) Or the mandatory limit (670/month) will take effect?
3) Is it optional to take online service or mandatory?

I got mail from the bank that my form is incomplete..so send it again, so I have send it again..now how many days will it take to get the mail..after resending the mail.
