starting next week, ChatGPT free users will be able to have unlimited text chats with the chatbot. This means you can send unlimited text messages without reaching a daily limit.
Restrictions on image generation, file uploads, and voice functions will still apply.
Free and Go users will also receive the new GPT 5.6 Luna model and a new “Think” button. This will allow Free users to activate deeper reasoning features for difficult questions when needed.
Don’t worry if you don’t see the changes immediately—the rollout is gradual and may take a few days to reach all users.
