RWTH Aachen Scholarships for Study Abroad for BSc, MSc and PHd in Korea
RWTH Aachen University is offering study abroad scholarship for bachelors, masters and PhD students from all disciplines. Scholarship will be awarded to spend a study abroad period at an outstanding Korean educational and research institution. Students will receive 3000 Euros regardless if their stay abroad lasts one or two semesters. Applicants can apply till August 15, 2014.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for Bachelor and master students and PhD candidates to spend a study abroad period at an outstanding Korean educational and research institution (one of partner Korean Universities i.e. Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), EWHA Womans University and Korea University).

Scholarship Open for International Students: German students (enrolled at RWTH Aachen University) are eligible to apply.
Scholarship Description: As part of our cooperation with high-profile partner universities in Korea, RWTH Aachen offers MOGAM scholarships for study abroad at one of the universities in Korea listed below lasting at least three months. The Korean term “mo-gam” roughly translates as “making the earth blossom.” In 2007, Korean RWTH alumnus Dr. Young-Sup Huh made a donation to RWTH which made it possible for the University to build the MOGAM Learning Center. THe MOGAM scholarships were created in recognition of Dr. Young-Sup Huh’s dedication and his contribution made to RWTH Aachen University.

What does it cover? Scholarship winners receive funding 3000 Euros regardless if their stay abroad lasts one or two semesters.
Selection Criteria: Based upon the documents submitted, the selection committee will select the suitable candidates. The Commission shall be composed of the Rector or the respective officers, representatives of the International Office of RWTH Aachen, two faculties and the student body.
Notification: Applicants can expect to receive by the middle or end of September of each year of the selection results.
