Engineer for product certification (m / f) 
in the area of ​​active fire protection / fire fighting

Location: Neu-Isenburg (near Frankfurt am Main )

 

Your task:
In project-related, international teams, you take responsibility for the following varied tasks: 
* Testing and certification of components and systems for plant fire protection 
* Planning and independent implementation of certification processes in cooperation with our Europe-wide customers 
* Close cooperation with our internal experts in the USA and the sales team 
* Independent completion of required audits by our customers on site 
* Preparation of the final 
reports in English * Travel share 25 – 30%; predominantly in Germany and Europe

Your profile:
* University degree (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, preventive fire protection or relevant specialist area 
* Several years of professional experience, preferably in active fire protection 
* Technical knowledge in the field of development, design and / or application of structural and technical fire protection systems ( eg sprinklers, delete or water mist systems) 
* knowledge of NFPA, VdS and FM requirements 
* preferred practical experience in handling and application of compliance standards (eg UL 199, UL 2166, UL 2167, EN 12259) 
* fluency in German and English, other European language advantageous
* Independent, preventive and results-oriented work in a fast-growing environment 
* High degree of flexibility to apply the knowledge and experience gained in other areas to new and complex products. 
* Good organizational skills, above-average commitment, high level of enthusiasm, and teamwork
