Dear Members Assalam-o-Alaikum,
I am writing this email to let members know few things about family reunion and some mistakes which must be avoided. If some friend is going to get married in Pakistan, please tell him/her about these issues. Simple looking mistakes can cause big trouble and delay later in family reunion.
About Nikah Registration:
Registration of Nikah involves three people: Nikah Khawan, Nikah Registrar and Union council. UC gives a register with 50 leaves to Nikah-Registrar. Each leave contains Nikah Nama ” Form II” in quadruplicate. In one UC , only a single Registrar can have the register. In usual case, Nikah Khawan goes to Registrar(if he is himself not a registrar) and gets a Nikah nama Form II (which has fours copies). One copy each (filled and signed) is given to Duhla, Dulhan,Registrar and UC.
1. Take care that Nikah is registered at the same Union Council where Nikah has taken place .Address written on filled Nikahnama should be in the UC where Nikah is registered. Any thing different to this created big problem for many ,especially those who did Nikha in a Marriage Hall and brought Molvi sahib from some other UC. If you made this mistake, count a delay of at least 3 months. Embassy will raise objection as the lawyer sent for Marriage verification would like to see your Nikah registered at the same UC as address written on Nikahnama. You may be to asked to change registration of your marriage from one UC to other through a court procedure in Pakistan.
2. Please closely check all the four copies of the filled Nikah-Nama for any mistake in names, ID card nr., date of birth etc. Check that all signatures are there at right place and stamp of Nikah-Registrar is present. Many take things lightly in Pakistan while filling forms.
3. Telephonic Nikah is big no no. You must be present there as German Embassy/consulate now checks it from entry and exit stamps on your passport. If there are some unavoidable circumstances, give a written power of attorney which has legal value i.e signed in front of Notary Public/judge or from Pakistani embassy/consulate (in case they deal with it) to your father to represent you during Nikah. Better be present there. Your absence will complicate the matters and hence the delay/rejection as a consequence.
5. Some people I talked to have made mistake while getting online appointment. You mad a mistake in name, passport number or email address than most probably you will not be able to submit documents on that day. In my experience, if you decide to take an appointment for family reunion, you normally get it after 4 to 6 weeks. So missing an appointment can be source of further delay.6. The interview by lawyer or at embassy may involve basic questions from your spouse about you. Newly married; make sure he/she has all the basic info about you.
7. Spouse of a Blue Card holder is exempted from providing A-1 German language certificate. About this, don’t believe on what they say on phone :). If your spouse can’t manage to do a language course in Pakistan, present following reference of the concerned Law as proof on your appointment day:

8. In some cities, there were cases when Ausländerbehorde(ABH) objected that the spouse in Germany is passing through the probation period of job. In some cities ,they ask for salary slips of 6 months while in others only for 3 months or just a job contract. Talk to other Pakistanis/Indians who have experience of dealing with the same ABH so that you can proceed accordingly.
Please correct if I am wrong on any account. The info is based on posts of members on this forum, experiences of acquaintances and my personal experience.
If you know some other issues which you or someone known to you faced, kindly share on this forum. This will facilitate others in their family reunion.

W.slam mera bety ki entry 5 month late huwi thi december 2016 mian wo paida huwya or may 2017 mian us ka hum ne idraj kervya hia just 5 month late. Us ka embassy walun ne objection laga dia k late entry. 40 din k ander kervani zarori hoti hia .
Uc.waly jo humy birthcertificate daity hian us k oper late entry lekh daity hian registers mian back mian record hota nahi hia to wo jb cheak kerty hian k abi inu ne leha hia to objection laga daity hian k law k mutabik nahi kervai gi is mian humaara koi qasoor to nahi hota hia leken saza humy milti hia milni uc walun ko chahi jo proper law k mutabik nahi kerty hian un ko pata hi nahi hota hia kia process hia
Thanks for your reply. Mery entry bhi late hai or meri hony wali wife ny family reunion visa apply karna ho ga. Ausky birth certificate par entry theek hai within 40 days. Kia mera birth certificate problem create kar sakta hai ? Husband ka birth certificate bhi lety hain ya nhe family re-union ke duran ? Mery birth certificate par entry to late hai but entry status normal likha hua hai.
Its better to correct it….embassy ks kuch pta ni or han family visa k ly husband ka birthcertificate required hai
Capricon thanks for your reply. How would it be corrected ? And mery saray study certificates par yehi date of birth hai. Entry is about 6 years late or yeh 1993 ki baat hai aaj kal ki nhe. Aus time itna dehan nhe deta tha koi birth certificates par unless somebody asks for it.
Agar apk Birthcertifcate pa date change hai or baki documents or is card pa same hai to birthcertificate pa change krwa lyn but you need to follow the proper procedure take order from court for the cancellation of old one then medical MS Certificate attestation of form from concern dept.new entry of Birthcertificate…. and plz ask to some expert as well…
Date of birth har document pe wohi hai jo birth certificate pe hai. Main sirf birth certificate ke data entry ka keh raha hon jo ke padaish ke kch saal baad ki hai. Birth certificate ke end main likha hota hai entry date : jo ke kch saal bad ki hai and then issue date or phr entry status jo ke normal hai.
Ok mujhy b late entry ka objection lga hai meri 7 months k baad ki entry thi es main court sa order la k phla cancell krway gy let suppose agar apki entry union council k under hai uder sa cancell hua through court order phr new entry k ly stamp paper banay gy witness che ho gy kuch jagho sa attestation or medical checkup then esk baad birth with late process ki entry ho jy gi its a legal process which embassy required
Okay mera metropolitan ka hai union council ka nhe. year 2000 sy pehly uc sy nhe banty thy birth certificates. This is strange ghalti tu metropolitan ki hai ke aunhon ny late entry ke time yeh cheezain kyn nhe mangin. Apka birth certificate UC ka hai ya phr metropolitan ka ? Medical checkup main kia hota hai?

Ap aisa kro k aply kerny se pehly us uc waly se bat kro k kuch paisy ly lo meri entry normal ker do wo purany register jis year ki ap ki birth hia us mian new page laga k ap ki entry ker dy ga . Ik bndhy ne aisa kia tha us ki ok ho gi thi. Court or madical k chkar mian zalel huny se bhtr hia
I am experiencing the same issue
Anyone here jisne December 2017 ma Family Reunion Visa apply kia ho aur usko visa call a gae ho. My wife has applied for visa and its around 6 months and still no visa call. I also confirmed from the auslaenderbehoerde here in Germany they say they are waiting for response from Islamabad Germany Embassy for documents verification. What should I do next ? Should I contact Islamabad Germany Embassy ?
I applied on 27 dec and received objection on 28 april….. one of my friend applied on 20th nov. She faced the same as u mentioned above and she received same reply from auslaenderbehoerde.
Thats bad, I haven’t seen anyone around here who got the visa who applied in period Nov-Dec 2017. If anyone who got the visa can inform us with useful information.

hi ahmed,my wife applied for family visa and was presented at German embassy on 3rd jan 2018.we are just waiting for visa call without any objection.Dont know how much time is needed to complete whole procedure.
Same with me, we applied on 13 december without any objections and we are also waiting. Did you confirmed from your local auslaenderbegoerde about the status?
i have called auslanderbehorde they said we are waiting for reply of embassy.that they have not sent us the marriage inquiry report..when they will recieve the report then they will call me and send reply to embassy for issuance of visa.

Lawyer visit January ma ho gea tha and we are waiting after that. February ma mjhe Ausländerbehore se call i thi for documents submition. After that they said k ub they are waiting for response from German embassy islamabad. And, wo din ha ajka din ha ubi tk inho ne response he nhi bheja ?

Acha strange hai… Apki wife ko visa mil jana chaiye tha ab tk. I dont know sirf vertification ki wajh sy itna delay kyn hota hai. Student visa tu 1 month main mill jata.

– Yes we already knew that they need birth certificate and we used our normal birth certificates, I didn’t knew about this late entry issue. But I think we were lucky not to stuck in this problem.
– The lawyer is responsible for performing a physical visit to examine if the marriage is not fake and he also confirms marriage from UC and he has to submit his research about you to the Embassy,
– Questions from Lawyer:
— Questions about marriage, when, where and how rishta happened.?
— Do you have child?
— Are you pregnant?
— Is it your first marriage?
— Ghr ma kon kon ha bhen bhai kon kia krta?
— And yeh jo sawal puche aik A4 paper pe declaration b likhwaya k hamari rukhsati nae hui only nikah hua and rukhsati is date ko ho ge.
— Also the lawyer looked laalchi but he didn’t demand for money.

Did they (embassy) ask for your birth certificate as well ? I don’t have any clue what is late entry and normal entry. My entry date is quite late in the birth certificate, but entry status is normal ( I don’t know what does it mean ). Did you also had that problem ? Kindly elaborate a little bit on this issue if you have information. I have already asked about that in the forum, but I can’t reach any concrete conclusion.
One of my friend whose wife got visa last year that he never submitted his birth certificate to the embassy. He is a blue card holder and his wife got visa in 3 to 4 months.
I was apply Dec-17 but no have any Update.

My wife applied earlier but we provided embassy with my birth certificate in december so we also applied in december. The lawyer visited on 3rd of Jan, 2018. I have submitted my documents here in ABH but no visa call and no information from Embassy. No idea when they will issue the visa. Let us know if you get any information from embassy. We called Embassy and ABH many times but same information that it is still in process.
My situation is exactly same as yours, we applied on 13 Dec, lawyer visit was in 1st week of january, I submitted my documents in ABH in February. We haven’t contacted anyone for visa status. We are waiting until 6 months are complete. Since, after 6 months embassy is obliged to inform about the status. So we I will contact them when the time completes.
I hope we all will get a positive response from Embassy before eid InshaALLAH ….

is there anyone whose spouse and kids are british national. spouse is settled in germany and kids are in pakistan. Is it easy to get german reunion visa for pakistani spouse while all the family members are british national.
What is status of your husband in Germany? Does he has work permit? On which basis he has the visa and for how long?
one of my friends has finnisch citizenship and he works here in germany.he called his wife from pakistan last year.you have to provide all the documents and full fill all the rewuirments except language proficiency test.
my husband is british national and british nationals are allowed to live in any other country in europe he has same rights in eurpoe which he has in uk.He is doing job in germany kids are also british nationals and are with me in pakistan. i have applied for family reunion on 12 th of april and lawyer came for enquiry on 8 th of may after 26 days of application submission. Is it easy to get visa if all family members are british on their behalf and my marriage and birth certificates are ok.

Aslam o alikum to all if anybody from Lahore has made birth ceritifcate with complete late entry process then please let mw know i got the court orders and now making a medical report from service hospital but the thing is about patwari and tahsildar how to find them i went to ac office he has signed it and said go to tahsildar but when i said i have to make medical age verification then he said okay make it and bring it to me i will refer to uc for making new certificate what you guys suggest what should i have to do now thanks to all in advance
Uc apko Mian munshi hospital refer kary g..wahan sy apko medical certificate mily ga after dental and bone age assessment.dental k liye wo apko Punjab dental hospital refer karain gy.un k pass x ray machiene nahi hai wo apko Nawaz shrif hospital refer karain gy. Wahan sy apka x ray hoga wo x ray ap dental hospital ly kar aao ge. Wo apko report bana kar dain gy usually usi din dy dyty hain. Wo ap by hand mian munshi main submit krwao g.
Ab bat reh gae bone age assessment ki. Wo ap services hospital sy krwayein gy or uski report bhi ap by hand mian munshi main submit krwayim gy. Phir Mian munshi waly apko final report bana kar dain gy. Uski. Aik copy ap UCain submit krwao g aik apny pass rakho g.
Ab jo dusra kam hai tehsildar wala or mayor k sign wala. Wo apko UC secretory bhi kar dyta hai bs usko thora dikhana pary ga kuch.

And i went to ac office then ac office refer to r.o fateh garh and then i went to patwar office in harbanspura they send munshi with me and he took photos of the house and then with 2 witness satatement and he said on monday he will make stamps for munshi
Services waly report k liye tang krty hain..main 3 4 days regular gae thi wahan..un k pichy prna prta hai..otherwise wo delay krty jaty hain.
Ye ac waly kam ka mujhy bhi idea nahi hai.sporry.
But jaldi karo ku k mian munshi waly agy report dyny main alag time lyty hain.

no this is my first time i applied for spouse visa of germany i have not went to uk.
keep in account that u have to full fill all requirments regarding german spouse visa accept language proficiency test.normallay europeans or britians dont need to provide proof of job but they ask same.my friend did not submit his pay slips because for eu nationals or citizens there is no need to submit but they blocked his application.after that he contacted to finish authorties n they helped him out to solve the issue.

My wife applied in dec then the lawyer visited in Jan 2018. Now no information about the visa until now. When we asked embassy about the status then the last status they provided us was that its in immigration and wait….
when there is no objection then they give visa in 6th month after interview.my wife was presented at embassy of germany in islamabad on 3rd january,lawyer came on 13th january.after that we are waiting for reply.
The lawyer visited on 3rd Jan in our case, but still we are waiting for any reply from embassy and when inquired they said its in immigration. I have no idea what this immigration is :/ ….

I have filled out a form for family reunion visa on march 26 and received a reply that they have received my email. Now its been more than two months and I still I have not received any appointment date from the embassy. Can you please tell me what can I do to speed up the process or should I contact embassy ?

Nein Ali Bhai asi baat nei . Mein ny September mein Termin k liye apply kia thaa. Aur appointment mili the end November . . So Bhai pershan nei hona jald AA jay gy. Allah behter krey gaa. Inshaallah . Embassy wale par bohat saber karwate Hain.

Normally embassy takes 3months or so in giving you a 2months later appointment date. So, be patient.
